Coming attractions

• More genealogical data, with photos.

• A few illustrated Victorian books, including fascinating children's books, dating back to 1837. I hope to provide a useful repository of Victorian graphic art.

• A collection of my photos of Toledo, Boston, and other areas.

• Beginning next spring, a natural history diary mostly of plants. An amateur botanist, I have a yardful of lush native flora, and hike around the parks, woods, lakeshore, etc. Possibly an account of what's blooming, and a few interesting tidbits about the plants hereabouts will interest neighbors.

• MIDI files of obscure songs of long ago, such as the one you're listening to now, which is "The Gazelle Polka" composed expressly for Godey's Lady's Book of 1850 by H. Auguste Pond.
